CSEC Biology is an academic programme that introduces learners to the fundamental concepts of life sciences, emphasizing the structure, function, and interrelationships of living organisms and their environments. Through a combination of theory, practical experiments, observation, and data analysis, students explore essential biological principles such as cell structure and function, nutrition, respiration, reproduction, heredity, ecology, and human biology.
The course encourages students to observe natural phenomena critically, classify organisms, explain biological processes, and develop scientific literacy that prepares them for success in the CSEC Biology examination and beyond.
