Overview
CAPE Caribbean Studies is a dynamic and interdisciplinary academic programme designed to deepen learners’ understanding of the Caribbean region, its people, culture, history, and contemporary issues. The course encourages students to explore how Caribbean societies have evolved, how culture shapes identity, how politics and economics affect development, and how Caribbean communities navigate opportunities and challenges in a globalised world.
Through engaging lessons, discussions, research projects, and critical reflection, learners develop a broad perspective on the Caribbean’s diverse experiences. This programme prepares students for success in the CAPE Caribbean Studies examination and equips them with the skills needed to think critically, communicate persuasively, and engage constructively with complex social and cultural questions.
